Copyright Policy

This Copyright Policy (the “Policy”) outlines the statutory requirements necessary for formally reporting copyright infringement on VehiclePrivacyReports.com (the “Site”), which is operated by Privacy4Cars, Inc. (“P4C,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”).  The Company respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Site to do the same. The Company will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with law and are properly provided to the Company.

If you believe that your content has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please fill out our copyright complaint form. If you would prefer not to use this form, please send notice in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). The DMCA Notice must include the following to be effective:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe to have been infringed or, if the claim involves multiple works on the Site, a representative list of such works;
  3. Identification of the material you believe to be infringing in a sufficiently precise manner to allow us to locate that material;
  4. Your contact information, such as name, address, phone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement that the information in the written notice is accurate; and
  7. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

If you fail to comply with all the requirements of Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA, your DMCA Notice may not be effective.  Please be aware that if you knowingly materially misrepresent that material or activity on the Site is infringing your copyright, you may be held liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
